The Senior Team Leader for collections manages a high-performing team of collection agents focused on recovering upcoming & delinquent short-term loans. This role drives daily, weekly, and monthly cash recovery targets while optimizing automated dialler campaigns and queue assignments. Beyond monitoring operational metrics like Promise-to-Pay (PTP) kept rates and roll rates, the leader actively coaches agents on negotiation tactics, skip tracing, and objection handling. The ideal candidate possesses 3-5 years of collections experience within the micro-lending or payday loan sector.

Key Responsibilities:
- Team Management: Lead a team of 20 to 25 collection executives working on Payday application loans.
- Performance Targets: Monitor key metrics like login-time, calling attempts, PTP generation and paid conversion.
- Quality Control: Ensuring all the calls are being made through recorded line, guidelines are being followed & no harrassment.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: +7 years of experience in debt collections & +3 years of experience in Team-handling and leadership.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of short-term loans & Micro-lending, risk assessment, sanction and credit underwriting.
- Skills: Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in CRM software, loan origination systems (LOS), and Microsoft Excel.
